ABOUT LOLA
Dolores Vila was born in 1992 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in sculpture and drawing from UMSA - University of Museo Social Argentino.

Through her artwork, Lola intends to reflect the connection people have with their environment. She manipulates all kinds of materials, depending on the concept she wants to portray. Her childhood, in the mount ranges of Córdoba, is deeply reflected in her artwork.

Throughout the years, Lola has been working with several techniques. This gave her the opportunity to deepen her bond with her artwork, start an Art Therapy Postgraduate Degree, and strengthen her artist statement.

ARTIST STATEMENT
“I pursue the synergy created by materials. I think that everyone has a personal relationship with nature and we are constantly exposed to the expressions of it. I believe that art is simply a pure reflection of who we are, and partly is because of the space we live in. We are co-authors and responsible for the changes we are currently living on our planet”.
